This, Minolta's most affordable prime lens is of good build quality and is known for it's sharpness, contrast, color saturation and neutral balance. The 50mm lens image is very close to what the unaided eye sees and offers the photographer that unique perspective. The bokeh is very substantial and pleasing, allowing you to effectively isolate your subject at f1.7.
